Nur Fadillah Antoni. 2018. Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Gambar Seri terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Narasi pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN 63 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu "Apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan narasi pada siswakelas IV SDN 63 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo?" Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas IV SDN 63 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif metode eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes (pretest dan posttest) sedangkan observasi dan dokumentasi adalah penunjang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 19 siswa. Hasil perolehan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 58,7 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 71,6. Hasil penelitian tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil uji t yang menyebutkan bahwa thitung sebesar 8,02 sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,10. Hal ini berarti thitung lebih besar dari ttabel atau taraf signifikan 0,05 yang berarti normal 95%. Dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa sebelum menggunakan media gambar seri dan sesudah menggunakan media di kelas IV SDN 63 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo.

This research aims to investigate the research problem statement, i.e., whether or not the implementation of serial images media contributes towards grade IV students' skill in writing narrative text in elementary school, SDN 63 Kota Timur, Gorontalo City. This quantitative research was conducted using pre research experimental desaign before one group pretest-posttest desaign. The data were collected using test (pretest-posttest) which were supported by the observation and dokumentation. Moreover, this research involved 19 students of grade IV as samples. The pretest avarage value is 58,7, and the average posttest value is 71,6. From the hypothesis test, it is given that tcountequals to 8.02 and ttableis 2.10, by which it signifies that the value of tcountoutnumbers ttablewithin the significant level of 0.05 or 95% normal. Henceforth, it indicates that Ho is rejected dan Ha is accepted, in which this study concludes that there is a significant difference in the students' skill of writing narrative text prior to and after the treatment of serial images media in fourth grade class of SDN 63 Kota Timur, Gorontalo City.
