Abstract

Meningkatkan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Pada Muatan Pelajaran IPA Tema VIII Subtema II Kelas V di SDN 13 Limboto. Skripsi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah dengan menggunakan pendekatan STEM dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA Tema VIII Subtema II kelas V SDN 13 Limboto. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA Tema VIII Subtema II kelas V di SDN 13 Limboto dengan menggunakan pendekatan (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) STEM. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 13 Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Hal ini dapat ditujukan pada aktivitas belajar pada siklus I indikator visual yaitu 53%, indikator lisan 41%, indikator motoric 81% , indikator mental 26%, dan pada siklus II mencapai indikator visual 88%, indikator lisan 85,5%, indikator motoric 87% dan pada indikator mental 87%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) aktivitas belajar siswa pada muatan pelajaran IPA di kelas V Tema VIII Sub Tema II Kelas V Di SDN 13 Limboto meningkat. The problem formulation in this study is whether using STEM approach can increase students' learning activities in the science content of Theme VIII Sub-theme II grade V SDN 13 Limboto. The purpose of this study was to improve students' learning activities in the science content of Tema VIII Sub-theme II grade V at SDN 13 Limboto using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach. The method used is the class action research method. The subject of this study was grade V students at SDN 13 Limboto Gorontalo, which consisted of 23 students. This can be aimed at learning activity on cycle I visual indicators i.e. 53%, oral indicators 41%, motoric indicators 81% , mental indicators 26%, and on cycle II achieve visual indicators 88%, oral indicators 85.5%, motoric indicators 87% and on mental indicators 87%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that by using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) approach, students' learning activities in science lessons in grade V Theme VIII Sub Tema II Grade V at SDN 13 Limboto increased.
