Sebuah karya dapat dikatakan sastra apabila menimbulkan ketertarikan
pembaca. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: resepsi pembaca terhadap
tema, tokoh, amanat dan tingkat pemahaman dalam novel Bercinta Dalam
Tahajjudku karya Anshela.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) Resepsi
pembaca terhadap tema dalam novel Bercinta Dalam Tahajjudku karya Anshela,
(2) Resepsi pembaca terhadap tokoh dalam novel Bercinta Dalam Tahajjudku
karya Anshela, (3) Resepsi pembaca terhadap amanat dalam novel Bercinta
Dalam Tahajjudku karya Anshela, dan (4) Tingkat pemahaman pembaca terhadap
novel Bercinta Dalam Tahajjudku karya Anshela. Penelitian ini menggunakan
teori resepsi sastra Endraswara (2018:60) dengan pendekatan pragmatik sastra
oleh Abrams (dalam, Endraswara, 2018:60).
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, jenis penelitian
deskriptif. Data penelitian berupa resepsi pembaca terhadap tema, amanat, dan
tingkat pemahaman pembaca pada novel Bercinta Dalam Tahajjudku karya
Anshela. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil dari jawaban kuesioner
yaitu dari 15 pembaca mengenai resepsi tema, tokoh, dan amanat,serta novel
Bercinta dalam tahajjudku karya Anshela. Data dikumpulkan dengan
menggunakan teknik dokumen, baca, kuesioner dan catat. Data yang yang
terkumpul dianalisis dengan menyalin hasil penyebaran angket, mengidentifikasi,
mengklasifikasi, menalisis, mendeskripsikan dan menyimpulkan hasil penelitian.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Responden yang tertarik terhadap
novel 66,67%, karenabanyak memuat ajaran Islam; 80% respondenmengetahui
tema novel yaitu kesedihan dan cobaan hidup; 100% responden menyatakan
bahwa tema tersebut dapat menggambarkan keseluruhan cerita; 80% responden
menyatakan bahwa tema tersebut dapat menyimpulkan keseluruhan cerita. (2)
Tanggapan reponden terhadap tokoh; 46,67 responden menyatakan bahwa tingkah
laku Kisi cukup baik; 86,67 responden menyatakan penialain tokoh Pak Haji,
Riris terhadap tokoh Kisi cukup baik; 73,33% tanggapan responden menyatakan
tidak sulit untuk menemukan watak dari tokoh utama. (3) Tanggapan responden
terhadap amanat, 86,67%responden menyatakan bahwa amanat dalam novel ini
dapat dipahami secara tersurat dan tersirat, sehingga 100% responden menyatakan
tidak memiliki kendala saat menemukan amanat yang ingin disampaikan oleh
pengarang. (4) Tingkat pemahaman pembaca terhadap tema (80%), tokoh (67%)
dan amanat (87%).
Simpulannya, resepsi pembaca terhadap novel Bercinta Dalam Tahajjudku
karya Anshela bervariasi disesuaikan dengan tema, tokoh dan amanat.

A work can be stated in literature if it arouses the reader's interest. Generated from the research problems, this study determined to describe the reader's reception of the themes, characters, messages, and levels of understanding in the novelby Anshela.This study employed the theory of literary reception Endraswara (2018:60) with a pragmatic literary approach by Abrams (in, Endraswara, 2018:60).
The research method used was descriptive qualitative research. The research data was in the form of reader reception of the theme, message, and level of understanding of the reader in the novel BercintaDalamTahajjudku by Anshela. Furthermore, the source was the results of the questionnaire answers from 15 readers regarding the aforementioned research objectives. In addition, data collection used were documentation, reading, questionnaires, and note-taking techniques. The collected data was then analyzed by copying the results of the questionnaire distribution, identifying, classifying, analyzing, describing, and concluding the results.
The results showed that: (1) As many as 66.67% of respondents were interested in the novel since it contained many Islamic teachings; as many as 80% of respondents understood the novels theme (sadness and trials of life); as many as 100% of respondents stated that the theme could describe the whole story; as many as 80% of respondents stated that the theme could conclude the whole story. (2) Respondents' responses to the characters; 46.67 respondents stated that Kisi's behavior was good; 86.67 stated that Pak Haji, Riris's assessment of Kisi's character was good; 73.33% of respondents were able to find the main character. (3) Respondents' responses to the message, 86.67% of respondents stated that the message in this novel could be understood explicitly and implicitly so that 100% of respondents find it easy to understand the message the author wanted to convey. (4) The level of readers' understanding of the theme (80%), characters (67%), and messages (87%).
In conclusion, the reader's reception of the novel BercintaDalamTahajjudkuby Anshela varies according to the theme, character, and message.
