Abstract
ABSTARCT
UNSRAWATY ADAM. 2015. NIM 321408118. Skripsi: Psychological analysis of the Character in Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman". English Department. Letters and Culture Faculty, Gorontalo State University.
The objective of this research is aimed to describe psychological condition of the character in "Death of a salesman" by Arthur Miller. The research used descriptive qualitative method. And also used a psychological approach. The problem statement of this research is refer to psychological of Willy Loman that seen through Id, Ego and SuperEgo aspects by using Sigmund Freud theory. Id is an aspect which more dominant than other aspects in the personality of Willy Loman. The technique of collecting the data is reading and comprehending the data until make conclusion. The technique of analysis the data used qualitative research.
Finally, this research teach us about the persistence of Willy Loman in strive something. Especially in his bussiness. He showed us the struggle of worked.
