The aim of this research is to find out the aspects of meaning reflected in the articles on Archipelago’s column of The Jakarta Post online. The source of the data is taken from Archipelago’s column of The Jakarta Post online in May 2012. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive method. The data of this research had been collected from eight articles in archipelago’s column of The Jakarta Post online. They were four steps to collect the data, browsing the articles of The Jakarta Post online, determining the articles reading the articles, identifying the articles and taking note. In addition, the data have been analyzed by using Shipley theory about the aspects of meaning. The result of this research could be concluded that there were found aspects of meaning in eight articles of The Jakarta Post online. There were theme, feeling, tone and intention. In his case, there were eighteen utterances spoken by the interview that indicate aspects of meaning.
