Irawati I. Sabora. (2015). Revenge In Surviving Life By Major Character In Conan The Barbarian Movie Directed By Marcus Nispel, English Department, Faculty of Letters and Culture, Gorontalo State University. First advisors Prof. Dr. Hj. Moon H. Otoluwa, M.Hum and second advisors.
This research is aimed at getting the description Conan's surviving in Conan The Barbarian movie directed By Marcus Nispel. This research use structural approach to analyze all the data and used is descriptive method. The source of the data is uses primary and secondary data.
The research found three factors that can influencesuccesss in survival they are sprit to survive,Readiness and supporting tools in Conan the Barbarian Movie. In the spirit to survive, when Conan wandering for surviving life and to reach the edge of the world by killing, steaking, keeping himself alive climbing high wall, and cross the sea only to look for a name of the man who war killing his father. In the readiness, when Conan's father (Corin) has already tough Conan how to make use a real sword, by saying before Conan could use the sword, first he should understand it. In the supporting tools in Conan the Barbarian,Conan tool use every war is one of his father's sword. Sword was the only legacy of his father to Conan, his father cannot provide other treasures in addition to the Conan sword. Before his father left his father had told Conan that someday his father's sword made into a wholly owned Conan.
