The present study is aimed to analyze the VOA news implicatures by using pragmatic approach. The data are analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method with several supporting steps. The data are collected by finding out and analyzing the conversation in the VOA advertisement based on implicatures analyzing of pragmatic approach. The data are analyzed based on the findings in each conversation of VOA news. The significance of research is to formulate the notion of implicature trough pragmatic analysis. Thus it is expected to give a positive contribution concerning linguistic theory development and the application of implicatures become a references in linguistic particularly in the field of pragmatic study. The data collection used data card in order to collect and specify each conversation news especially in VOA. This research found 20 data that indicate as implicature, they are ten data of economic news and ten data include health news. Then the data classified to conversational and conventional implicature, and the result from economic news are found 9 as conversational implicature and 1 as conventional implicature. From health news data found 8 data as conversational implicature and 2 data as conventional implicature.
