This research aims to analyze the dialogue of the characters in movie entitled Harry Potter Movie "the Deathly Hallows Part I" in order to find out the types of negative politeness in movie based on Brown and Levinson theory. To achieve these objectives, the data that have been collected and analyzed trough following steps. First, this research selected conversations that contained negative politeness strategy. Sub-Secuantly analyzed and categoried in each sub-strategies of negative politeness strategy. The result of this research showed that there were 14 conversations that contain in negative politeness strategy. From those conversations, there were 15 utterances that were included in eight of ten sub-strategies of negative politeness. There were two sub strategy not found by researcher the types of negative politeness that is sub-strategy 5 and sub-strategy 9. From the 15 utterances, the most influential the establishment of the negative politeness is context of the utterance.
