Agung Raka Indrawati. 2014. Enriching Students' Vocabulary through Around the World Game (A Research Conducted at the Seventh Grade of SMP Swadharma Mopugad, Bolaang Mongondow)
This research is about enriching students' vocabulary through around the world game. The purpose of this research is to find out whether Around the world game can enrich the students' vocabulary of grade VII in SMP Swadharma Mopugad. This research is conducted by pre experiment design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The samples of this research are the students of class VII B of SMP Swadharma Mopugad, which are consisted of 27 students. The samples of this research are selected by using purposive sampling. The findings of this research show that the average score of pre-test is 51, 98, and the average score of post-test is 73,28. From the data, it can be stated that the students' score in posttest are higher than students' score in pretest. The hypothesis of this research is calculated by using t-test formula. By the calculation, it is found that the tcount > tlist with the value of 9,05 > 2,06. It means that the hypothesis of this research is received. Therefore, it can be concluded that Around the world game can enrich the students' vocabulary of grade VII in SMP Swadharma Mopugad.
