This research aims to reveal the emotion of Leo's character in "The Vow" film in accordance with the psychological approach. It uses the theory of psychological proposed by Sigmun Freud and Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman.in analyzing the psychological aspect of the Leo's character in "The Vow" film. The study is limited only on the aspect of emotion of love which expressed by the character of Leo in The Vow film. The data is collected by watching and identifying the movie and the data was analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method. The data are analyzed after finding and classifying the specific sentences and utterances that contained the representation of the expression of love by Leo's character in the film. The result of the study shows the fact that there are five emotions that were identified in Leo's character. Those emotions are self-awareness (three data), self-regulation (two data), self-motivation (one data), self-empathy (one data), and social-skills (three data). It can be concluded that the basis of psychologicalis emotion because emotion plays an important role in the formation ofa person's character. With the emotion our attitude can be evolve
