This research explored students' perception on the using of language laboratory in listening subject. Perception is the extraction of perceptual information from a stimulus. This research used qualitative research and utilized observations, questionnaire, and interview as the instrument in the data collection. The participants consisted of twenty students in the fourth semester. Based on the result of the research, it was found that the participants still have good perception on the using of language laboratory in listening subject even students could not usethe language laboratory effectively with the real condition in now days. Besides, students also have good perception about the effectiveness of using language laboratory in listening subject, differences and similarity of studying inside or outside language laboratory, students' motivation in using language laboratory in listening subject, lecturer's strategy in using language laboratory in listening subject, and language laboratory condition itself.
