The objectives of this research were to find out the types and the formula of each types of blending words in general terms found in portmanteaus list of Wikipedia, and to describe the process of blending words formed especially general terms found in Wikipedia portmanteaus list. The method of this research was descriptive qualitative research. The data were taken from portmanteaus list of Wikipedia especially the general terms. Meanwhile, in collecting the data, the researcher did some steps such as reading, taking note, and browsing. In analyzing the data, the researcher used several procedures such as 1) identify the blending words 2) classify the types of blending words 3) explaining the process of blending words. The result of this research showed there were all types of blending words in general terms of Wikipedia portmanteau namely abbreviated compound blending and proper blending. In addition, the type that mostly appeared in general terms of portmanteau list of Wikipedia was the proper blending. Moreover, the process of blending words in general terms of Wikipedia portmanteau used the two process of blending word namely abbreviated compound blending and proper blending.
