Abstract
ABSTRACT Masyitha Rais Toonaw, 2018. 321 411 116. Developing Students' Vocabulary By Using Stand Up Sequence Game In Junior High School. The research conducted on students of SMP Negeri 4 Gorontalo in the 2015/2016 academic year. Skripsi. English Education Study Program, Letters and Culture Faculty. This researcher is aimed to find out whether or not Stand Up Sequence Game can increase students' ability in vocabulary. . The sample was class VII-3 which consists of 34 students. This research used pre-experimental design by applying pre-test, treatment and post-test. In collecting the data, the researcher used vocabulary test. The result of this study was significantly increased because the students developed vocabulary better after using Stand Up Sequence Game. It can be seen from the differences between pre-test and post-test result. In Pre-test data, the student's lowest score was 9 and the highest score was 30, while in Post-test data the student's lowest score was 10 and 32 the highest score were. As the result t-count â t-list or 4,10 â 1.70/. It means that the students' vocabulary can be improved by using think-pair-share technique. Key Words: Students', Vocabulary, Stand Up Sequence Game
