This research is analyzed types of signs in Gerard Manley Hopkins's by using theory of sign Charles Sanders Pierce. The poems are :spring and fall: to a young child, I wake and feel the fell of dark, the sea and the skylark, and Heaven-haven. This research also interpreting the meaning of signs that contains in poems based on the theory of Pierce, He divides signs in to three types: icon, index and symbols. Semiotics is the approach which is used in analyzing those poems and qualitative research as the method in this research. The data collected based on the line(s) or stanza(s) which is/are contain kinds of sign; Icon, index, and symbols. 24 data are found as the result of this research. In Spring and fall: to a young child, the writer has found 6 data (2 data as the icon, 1 data as the index and 3 data as the symbol), I wake and feel the fell of dark, the writer has found 7 data (3 data as the icon, 1 data as the index and 3 data as the symbol), The sea and the skylark, the writer has found 4data (1 data as the icon, 1 data as the index and 2 data as the symbol), and the last poem, Heaven-Haven, the writer has found 7 data (2 data as the icon, 1 data as the index and 4 data as the symbol).
