The purpose of this research is to find out the stereotypes of language features used by female students in English department. The main theory from Robin Lakoff ((1973) was used to analyze the data. Lakoff (1973) said that there are ten language features of female named lexical hedges, tag question, rising intonation, empty adjective, precise color, intensifier, hyper correct grammar, super polite forms, avoidance of strong swear word and emphatic stress. The data are examined by using qualitative method to explain one by one of the language features used by female students. The data are collected through observation inside the classroom of class A and D 2014 while the lecturer giving a lesson to the students. The findings reveal that from the ten language features from Lakoff, five of them appear. Those are lexical hedges, tag question, rising intonation, intensifier, super polite form in student's speeches. Five of them do not appear; those are empty adjective, precise color, hyper correct grammar, avoidance of strong swear word and emphatic stress. These features do not appear because the students are still lack of vocabulary and the students in English department do not use English as their second language but they learn English as their first foreign language.
