Abstract Ladsmi Hiluwamo. 321 413 078. 2018. "The Types of Teachers Feedback' in Students' Writing "Undergraduated Thesis. Department of English Language Education, Faculty of Letters and Culture, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The first advisor is Dr. Hanisah Hanafi M.Pd, and second advisor is Yusna Bantulu S.Pd. M.A The aims of this study is to find out the types of teachers' feedback in students' writing. This study applied qualitative descriptive as the research method. The object of this study is undergraduate students of department of English Language education, third semester, class of 2016, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. To collect the data, the researcher conducted worksheets in which the students were asked to give their assignment of writing. There were 20 worksheets written by 20 students and only 17 tasks which required as the data written by students. In analyzing the data, the researcher used some theories that are relevant to this study. These theories are the theory of feedback and the theory of error correction. The result shows, the types of feedback in students' worksheets, namely comment and error correction. Comments given by teacher are suggestion, explanation and compliment. In addition, error types correction as the dominant error found in students worksheets. Moreover, the researcher found other types of feedback in students' worksheets. The types are, delete ( ), PL (plural), art (article), punctuation in the circle, SP (spelling), insert (V) and capital letter. Although, the codes have similar meaning with the error correction code. Keywords: Writing, Descriptive Feedback
