In order to achieve the purpose of education, the process of teaching and learning should be based on standard competence of teacher in Indonesia. Unfortunately the implementation of standar professional of teacher is still not fully implemented. The fact show that generally, the process teaching only transmitting knowledge without measuring how well the student have educated. This study aims to analyze the competence professional teachers in English teaching in SMK Cokroaminoto Kotamobagu. Descriptive qualitative method have been selected as the methodology of this study and used observation and interview as the tool of gathering data. Six participants, there are three from the teachers and three student. The result of this research is teacher 1,2 and 3 have achieved the professional comptence of English teachers by using analyze the data with theory from the Agung; Mastering the materials, the structure and the concept of the subject taught, developing the learning materials creatively, developing their own professionalism, using the information technology.
