Advisor (1) Novi Rusnarty Usu, S.Pd., M.A (2) Farid Muhamad, S.Pd., M.A "Literature is the mirror of the society" Abrams, this statement in line with the aims of this study; to reveals how The Devil Wears Prada novel portrays the 21st-century women in the United States. The analysis focus on two main women characters, Miranda Priestly and Andrea Sach. The data are the characters lines taken from the novel The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger. It is analyzed by using liberal feminism theory. the result shows that the 21st-century women in the novel are still in line with the liberal feminism values. They have achieved equality in major aspects of their life. Thus, it can be concluded that the novel indicated also the condition of the 21st-century women in the United States who have accomplished equality in education and in the workplace.
