"A is for Alibi", a novel written by Sue Grafton is interesting to be analyzed. This novel gives the image of a woman who is strong and brave in completing her job's as a private investigator. The research focuses on analyzing radical feminist idea and action in A is for Alibi novel. The aim of this research is to reveal how to ideas of radical feminism are reflected through Kinsey's characteristics in A is for Alibi novel This research used descriptive method and radical feminism analysis. The technique of collecting data is library research, particularly by reading books related to radical feminism. The conclusion revealed that A is for Alibi is a novel that reflects radical feminism, where Kinsey fights against the use of male-dominated in public and private places, she does not use a family name, she is anti-legal marriage, and the way she behaves is different from other women.
