Abstract
This research aimed to describe how teachers use video in teaching English. The participant of this research were 3 English teachers who teach in X, XI, XII grade. This study used a qualitative research. The data were collected by using interview. The questions of interview were developed by the researcher based on Creswell theory, researcher take field notes on individual behavior and activities at the research site. The finding of this research showed that teachers agreed that they feld easy to teach, learning materials can be conveyed well, and students are more focused on learning. During learning activity teachers has implemented a video, by used Follow-up activity, Freeze Framing, and Repetition techniques. The students gave positive respon toward video material. In listening, through this media teacher's goal had changed to help students develop their English skills, understand the target language, and communicate effectively. In speaking, teachers found that students' abilities in speaking develop in learning after they used video. Keywords: Video, teaching English, techniques for video implication
