This research intends to find out whether the use SCROL strategy can improve students' reading comprehension on narrative text at SMA Terpadu Wira Bhakti Gorontalo. It was conducted to first grade especially class XIPA2 as the sample of this research. The researcher conducted a one group pre-test post-test design in order to find out the significant difference of students' reading comprehension before and after being taught through SCROL strategy. The quantitative method is applied for this research because this type of research is explaining a phenomenon by collecting numerical data that are analyzed statistically. As the result, the used of SCROL strategy can improve students' reading comprehension on narrative text. It showed based on significant difference between the result of pre-test (41,15%) and post-test (60,90%). Moreover, the used of this strategy made the students stay focus, active in learning process, easy in understanding the generic structure and comprehend the reading text.
