Abstract
This research aims to see the English teaching learning process by using hybrid learning and the problem of teaching English in hybrid classroom at MTsN 1 Kota Gorontalo. A qualitative method is employed in discovering the results, where it is conducted at MTsN 1 Kota Gorontalo and the participants are the teacher of MTsN 1 Kota Gorontalo. Data collection was employed by using interview. The results showed that there are some noticeable differences between hybrid and normal teaching, which include the duration, method of teaching, and media. In addition, it is also discovered that the use of hybrid teaching also received praises from students who declared their satisfaction with the work of teachers and positively assess the quality of knowledge gained during learning in a hybrid format. Therefore, it is safe to conclude that the use hybrid teaching provides numbers of benefit for both students and teachers. Keywords: hybrid teaching, online class.
