This research aims to find out whether buzz group method can increase students��� reading comprehension. This study took 25 students of SMPN 4 Gorontalo at second grade (VIII 4) as the sample. In this research, the researcher used objective multiple choice to collect the data. The multiple choice item used one kinds of text there is narrative text. The researcher used pre experimental, namely one grop pre test and post test design. The result of this result showed, the mean score in pre test was 14,56 and in post test the mean score was 16,28. In this research, the hypothesis found that tcount > tlist with a value of 5.219 > 2.074. It means that the hypothesis (H1) is accepted. It can be summed up that buzz group can increase students��� reading comprehension of the second grade in SMPN 4 Gorontalo.
