EFL Students Perceptions Toward English Speaking Learning Process During Covid-19 Pandemic at English Department., English Education Department, Letters and Culture Faculty, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Advisors (1) Prof. Nonny Basalama, M.A., Ph. D,(2) Dr. Usman Pakaya, S.S., M.A This research describes the EFL students perceptions of English-Speaking Learning Process during Covid-19 Pandemic at English Department during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using qualitative method and the participants of this research were English Department students in 4th semester grade 2019/2022. Written interview by link platform was the technic to collect the data and use thematic analysis to analyze the data. The result showed that positive and negative effect about online learning process in speaking class. (1) English-speaking learning needs to be done face-to-face because prone to distraction. (2) Flexible learning location, they can attend the class anytime and anywhere as long as they have internet connection. (3) They faced with some obstacles such unstable network lack of proper devices which have a bad effect for their online learning class.
