Fifty Shades of Grey is one of erotic-romance novels written by British author E. L. James in 2011. The novel portrays a man who had a sexual disorder. Christian Grey is a character in the novel who was attractive, brilliant, intimidating but had a peculiarities in sexuality. It is called: Sadomasochism. This study aims to discover sexual disorder of Christian Grey character in Fifty Shades of Grey novel by E. L. James through psychoanalytic approach. This study applies qualitative descriptive method and psychoanalytic approach from Sigmund Freuds psychoanalytic theory. The primary data will be obtained from the content of Fifty Shades of Grey novel and secondary data will be from articles, journals and etc. The aftermath of this research will prove the existence of sexual disorder of Christian Grey character in Fifty Shades of Grey by E. L. James.
