The first advisor is Prof. Dra. It attempted to address the following question: What are students' perception towards cultural show on cross-cultural understanding subject? The participants of this study were 16 students from the class of 2017 and 2018 of the English Department. This study used a qualitative method with thematic analysis based on Braun and Clarck (2006) theory as the technique of analyzing the data. The questions of the interview were adapted and developed from Walgito (2003). The research findings showed that cultural show has a positive impact on students; can increase students' knowledge, help students to recognize their talents and creativity, and also help students to be more responsible and confident. Furthermore, students felt some obstacles when doing the cultural show, such as difficulty working in a team, the lack of cohesiveness of students in the team, the difficulty in finding vendors, managing their time, collecting the cost, and the final grades that are not appropriate. Therefore, the role of the lecturers is very important in doing the cultural show to control the practice process, control student's attendance list during the practice, guide student's discussion, help provide solutions related to the vendors and cost, and explain or re-discuss the things who become lecturers' assessment in giving grades.
