Abstract
THE STUDENT PERCEPTION USING VOICE RECORDING APPLICATION IN SPEAKING.
(Research conduct on English Department Student at Semester three 2018/2019)

This study examined the students perceptions toward the use of voice recording applications in speaking. Using qualitative research method, the participants of this research was English Department student was the 3nd-semester in 2018/2019. Online interviews using video calls was the technique to collect the data by carrying out mixed language during the process of interview. The data from the interview was analyzed by thematic analysis. The finding showed that (1) the student had a positive perception as they enjoyed learning English speaking by using voice recording; (2) had an impact on several student aspects in speaking such as pronunciation, vocabulary and fluency; (3) the benefit from voice recording it helped the student to improve their listening ability, help students to be more confident to express their idea and helped students to thaught more critically to correct the mistake. This study suggested the lectures applied voice recording frequently in speaking learning.
