This research is entitled Hyperbole in Olivia Rodrigo������s Selected Songs in Sour Album. The aims of this research is to find out the form of hyperbole in Olivia Rodrigo������s selected song by using the theory of Claridge (2011) as a guideline of the research. Based on the theory, there are seven forms of hyperbole, those are Single Word Hyperbole, Phrasal Hyperbole, Clausal Hyperbole, Numerical Hyperbole, The Role of Superlative, Comparison, and Repetition. This research used descriptive qualitative research as the research method. The researcher takes ten song in Olivia Rodrigo������s Sour album. The data were taken from musixmatch.com website. The result of this research expected to be able to explain to the readers in understanding the meaning of song lyrics that use figurative language, especially hyperbole. This research showed that there are twenty three data in six forms of hyperbole were found in Olivia Rodrigo������s selected song. Those are three forms single word hyperbole, nine forms phrasal hyperbole, eight forms clausal hyperbole, one form numerical hyperbole, one form comparison, and one form repetition. Based on the result, the dominant form is phrasal hyperbole. However, there is one form that does not indicated in Rodrigo������s song, which is The Role of Superlative form of hyperbole and there is one song from Sour album that does not indicated the form of hyperbole entitle 1 Step Forward and 3 Steps Back.
