Advisor (2): Novi Rusnarty Usu, S.Pd., M.A. Frankenstein (1823) is a combination of gothic horror story and science fiction from England. The novel tells the story of Victor Frankenstein as a student of natural science who creates an artificial human from pieces of corpses and bring his creature to life. The purpose of this research is to describe about how does the anxiety disorder influenced Victor Frankenstein as the main character in Frankenstein nocel through psychoanalysis approach. This research is used descriptive qualitative. Psychoanalytic theory by Sigmund Freud is applied in this study. The primary data of this research is collected from the novel entitled Frankenstein wrote by an English novelist, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. The conclusion of this research is the anxiety disorder has influenced Victor Frankenstein. Keyword: Frankenstein, Anxiety, Disorder.
