Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan siswa menggunakan formula penyelesaian soal menurut polya pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian deskripsi ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan mengacu pada formula penyelesaian soal menurut polya.Dalam proses mendeskripsikan, Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Telaga. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa siswa masih kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal khususnya pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel.

The aims of this studyis to analyze the students difficulties using a settlement question formula according to polya on material system of linear equations two variables. The type of this research is descriptive research.This description of research use descriptive approach and referring to a settlement question formula according to Polya. In the process of describing, the subject of this research is the entire class IX students in SMP Negeri 1 Telaga. The results of this research shows that students still difficulty in resolving the problem especially in material systems of linear equations two variables.
