Abstract
Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi relasi dan fungsi dalam soal cerita di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Gorontalo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 11 Gorontalo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: Tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi relasi dan fungsi melalui pembelajaran daring di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Gorontalo sebesar 58% berada pada kategori sedang. Kemampuan memahami masalah matematika merupakan indikator yang memperoleh skor tertinggi sebesar 75%. Kemampuan merencanakan strategi yaitu 59%. Kemampuan melaksanakan strategi yaitu 56% dan. Kemampuan memeriksa Kemabali yaitu 36% merupakan indikator yang memperoleh skor terendah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa sudah mampu menggunakan indikator-indikator dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan baik.
The recent study aims to describe students ' mathematical problem - solving ability in relation and function materials in story problems in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Gorontalo . This study uses the descriptive method . The subjects are grade VIII A students of SMP Negeri 11 Gorontalo . Data collection techniques include test and interview . Based on the research , it is concluded that : the level of students mathematical problem - solving ability in relation and function material through online learning in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Gorontalo is 58 % in the medium category . The ability to understand the mathematical problem is an indicator that gets the highest score of 75 % . The ability to plan strategies is 59 % . The ability to implement the strategy is 56 % and . The ability to crosscheck of 36 % is the indipor with the lowest score . This shows that most of the students have been able to use indicators in mathematical problem - solving ability well .
