Penelitian ini dilaksanakan atas dasar masih rendahnya kualitas dan hasil pembelajaran fisika pada materi zat dan wujudnya di sekolah kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tapa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat sejauh mana model pembelajaran kooperatif learning tipe investigasi kelompok dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian di laksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Tapa kelas VII dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah (1). Lembar pengamatan pengelolaan pembelajaran Guru, (2). Lembar pengamatan aktifitas siswa, (3). Lembar pengamatan keterampilan kooperatif learning tipe investigasi kelompok, (4). Tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar hanya mencapai 52 % sehingga perlu dilanjutkan ke siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 100%. Dengan demikian , kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan menerapkan pembelajaran Kooperatif learning tipe investigasi kelompok dapat meningkatan kualitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi zat dan wujudnya di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tapa pada tahun ajaran 20013/2014.

The research was conducted on the basis of the low quality and learning outcomes of physics at the material substance and manifestations in school class VII SMP Negeri 1 Tapa. The purpose of this study is to see how far the cooperative learning model type of investigation group can improve student learning outcomes. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Tapa class VII with the number of students 25 academic year 2013/2014. The instrument used in this study were (1). Teacher learning management observation sheet, (2). Observation of student activity sheet, (3). Cooperative learning skills of observation sheet type of investigation group, (4). Achievement test. Based on analysis of data obtained in the first cycle of learning mastery learning only reached 52 % so that the need to proceed to the second cycle increased to 100%. Thus, learning and teaching by applying cooperative learning group learning type of investigation can improve quality and student learning outcomes in material substance and manifestations in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Tapa in the academic year 20013/2014.
