Abstract
ABSTRAK Ririn Afriani O Panu. 2015. Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif TPS (Think Pair Share) Pada Materi Usaha dan Energi di Smp Negeri 2 Bongomeme. Skripsi, Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Fisika, Jurusan Fisika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dr. Nawir Sune, M.Si dan Pembimbing II Tirtawaty Abdjul, S.Pd, M.Pd. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif TPS (Think Pair Share). Jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan mengambil subjek penelitian pada siswa kelas VIII5 SMP Negeri 2 Bongomeme yang berjumlah 27 siswa pada tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat kali pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar siswa yang melibatkan beberapa orang pengamat. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai standar ketuntasan hanya sebesar 74,07 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penelitian tindakan kelas pada siklus I ini dapat dikatakan belum mencapai ketuntasan indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan, sehingga tindakan perlu dilanjutkan kesiklus selanjutnya yakni siklus II. Tindakan yang belum terlaksana dengan baik pada siklus I telah diperbaiki pada siklus II. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa telah mengalami peningkatan sebesar 92,58 % artinya penelitian tindakan kelas ini telah berhasil dengan dilaksanakannya tindakan perbaikkan pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif TPS (Think Pair Share) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika materi usaha dan energi dikelas VIII5 SMP Negeri 2 Bongomeme. This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through a cooperative learning model TPS (Think Pair Share). This type of research is classroom action research, to take on the subject of research at VIII5 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Bongomeme numbering 27 students in the academic year 2014/2015. This study was conducted by two cycles consisting of four meetings. The instrument used was the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheet and test student learning outcomes involving some observers. The results obtained in the first cycle that results for students who achieve the standard of completeness only amounted to 74.07%. This shows that the action research on this first cycle can be said yet achieve mastery of performance indicators that have been set, so that action needs to be continued next kesiklus the second cycle. The action has not done well in the first cycle has been improved in the second cycle. After the action on the second cycle learning outcomes of students has increased by 92.58% means that action research has been successful with the implementation of any improvement measures in the second cycle. Based on the results of data analysis, we can conclude that by using cooperative learning model TPS (Think Pair Share) can increase student learning outcomes in the subjects of physics of matter and energy business class VIII5 SMP Negeri 2 Bongomeme.
