Abstract
Wahyu Mu'zizat Mohamad. 2015. Deskripsi Penggunaan Metode Demonstrasi terhadap Minat Belajar Mahasiswa pada Perkuliahan Fisika Kuantum. Suatu penelitian di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika. Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Drs. Asri Arbie, M.Si dan Pembimbing II Abd. Wahidin Nuayi, S.Pd, M.Si. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya minat belajar mahasiswa terhadap beberapa materi perkuliahan yang tergolong sulit dan kurang mampu dipahami mahasiswa, salah satu penyebabnya berasal dari cara dosen menyajikan materi. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk melihat penggunaan metode demonstrasi terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan kegiatan dosen, lembar pengamatan kegiatan mahasiswa dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, analisis data dan pembahasan yang telah dikemukakan, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi sangat cocok untuk menarik minat belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Fisika Kuantum. Hal ini terlihat pada persentase rata-rata minat belajar mahasiswa dalam setiap pertemuan yakni 75%, 76% dan 76% yang semuanya termasuk kategori "Berminat". Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi dapat menarik minat belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Fisika Kuantum. Wahyu Mu'zizat Mohamad. 2015. This research is motivated to lack of student interest in learning to some lecture material that is relatively difficult and less able to understand the students, one reason comes from the way the lecturer presents the material. The purpose of this research is to look at the use of methods of demonstration against the interest of student learning. This type of research is descriptive qualitative approach. The instrument used was the observation sheet activities of lecturer, student activity observation sheet and questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, data analysis and discussion that has been raised, it can be concluded that the use of the method is suitable for the demonstration of students' interest in quantum physics lectures. This is seen in the average percentage of students learning interest in every meeting that is 75%, 76% and 76% of which were categorized as "Interested". Thus, it can be said that the use of methods of demonstration can attract students' interest in quantum physics lectures.
