Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis contextual teaching and learning terhadap hasil belajar pada materi suhu, pemuaian dan kalor. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII 2 SMP Negeri I Tilongkabila tahun ajaran 2014/2015.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen.Pada penelitian ini sampel diambil sebanyak I kelas yang berjumlah 27 orang.Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes objektif tipe pilihan ganda (Multiple Choice) dengan empat pilihan (Option) yang digunakan untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu, pemuaian dan kalor. Dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh rerata skor post-test sebesar 12,63 lebih tinggi di bandingkan dengan rerata skor pre-test sebesar 9,26 dan selisih yang diperoleh sebesar 3,37 serta dilihat dari gain yang dinormalisasi psebesar 0,4 dengan kriteria sedang. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% ( = 0,05) diperoleh harga ttabel = 2,05 thitung =4,66 dari hasil diperoleh thitung = 4,66>ttabel= 2,05 sehingga hipotesis H0 ditolak dan menerima hipotesis H1

This research aimed at knowing the implementation of cooperative learning model, Contextual and Learning based to the students' learning achievement on the temperature, thermal expansion, and heat topic. This research was conducted on class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila in academic year 2014/2015. The method of this research used quasi-experiment, the sample of the research was about 27 students in one class. The instrument of the research used multiple choice with four options that uses to increase the students' learning achievement on the temperature, thermal expansion, and heat topic. In this research, the post-test about 12.63 was higher the pre-test score about 9.26. The difference was about 3.37 from the normalize gain about 0.4 with the medium criteria. The t-tes with the level of significance about 95% ( = 0.05) abtained the ttable = 2.05, tcount = 4.66, it means the tcount> ttable, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted.
