Abstract
ABSTRAK Wa Hariani, 2015. Deskripsi Kemampuan Pemahaman Konseptual dan Algoritmik Siswa dalam menyelesaikan Soal-Soal Larutan Penyangga. Skripsi, Prodi S1 Pendidikan Kimia, Jurusan Kimia, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dr. Lukman A.R. Laliyo, M.Pd, M.M dan Pembimbing II Dr. Weny J.A Musa, M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemahaman konseptual algoritmik siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal larutan penyangga. Data yang digunakan penguasaan konsep larutan penyangga melalui tes essay sebanyak 10 soal, yang terdistribusi 5 soal tes pemahaman konseptual dan 5 soal pemahaman algoritmik. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA, yaitu Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Telaga dan Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Limboto Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak, diperoleh sampel dari setiap sekolah berjumlah 41 siswa, jadi total keseluruhan sampel berjumlah 82 siswa Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konseptual dan algoritmik siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal larutan penyangga dalam kategori sangat rendah (3,902% dan 39,266%). The data used mastery of concept buffer solution through essay test as many as 10 questions that distributed 5 questions about understanding conceptual and 5 questions about understanding algorithmic. Source of data in this research were students of class XI IPA, SMA Negeri 1 Telaga and SMA Negeri 1 Limboto in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. Sampling was done randomly; obtained sample of each school was 41 students. Thus, the total sample was 82 students. The results of this research showed that the ability of understanding conceptual algorithmic students' in solving problem-solution buffer in category of very low (3.902% and 39.266%).
