Penelitianinimerupakanpenelitiandeskriptif, yang bertujuanuntukmengidentifikasimiskonsepsisiswaterhadapkonseplarutanpenyangga.Penelitianinidilakukanpadasiswakelas XI IPA 1 di SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo Utara menggunakantespiihanganda(multiple choice)denganalasanterbuka. Instrumeninidaapatmembedakanantarasiswa yang tahukonsep, tidaktahukonsepdanmiskonsepsi.Pengamblansampeldilakukandengancara sampling jenuh. Hasilpenelitiansecarakeseluruhanmenunjukkanbahwamiskonsepsisiswakelas XI IPA 1 di SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo Utara padakonseplarutanpenyanggaberadapadakategoritinggiyaitunilai rata-rata sebesar 44,17%, tahukonsepnilai rata-rata 10,8%, tahukonseptetapikurangyakinnilai rata-rata 2,13% dantidaktahukonsepnilai rata-rata sebesar 42,9%. Identification of Students Misconceptions in Concept of Buffer Solution at Class of Chemistry Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Gorontalo. Principal Supervisor is Dr. Akram La Kilo and Co-Supervisor is Deasy Natalia Botutihe, S.Pd, M.Si. This research is descriptive that aims at identifyting students misconceptions in concept of buffer solution at class of XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo Utara using multiple choice test with open grounds. This instrument could distinguish the students who have known, unknown, or misconception to the concept. In taking sample, this research used saturated sampling method. The overall result of this research showed the students misconception in concept of buffer solution at class of XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo Utara was in the high category with average score 44,17%, understanding the concept was 10,8%, understanding but unsure the concept 2,13% and not understanding the concept was 42,9%.
