Abstract
ABSTRAK Nura'in Hikaya. 2016. Studi Komparasi Kemampuan Pemahaman Konseptual, Algoritmik, dan Grafis Mahasiswa Jurusan Kimia pada Materi Asam-Basa. Skripsi. Jurusan Kimia, Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia, Fakultas Matematika dan IPA, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Dosen Pembimbing I Prof. Dr. Astin Lukum, M.Si dan Pembimbing II Deasy N. Botutihe, S.Pd, M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konseptual, algoritmik, dan grafis mahasiswa jurusan kimia pada materi asam-basa. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa jurusan kimia berjumlah 42 orang, dengan mengunakan jenis penelitian komparatif dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian komparatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes essay sebanyak 12 nomor soal yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konseptual, algoritmik, dan grafis. Pengujian hipotesis data pada hasil penelitian diuji menggunakan uji analisis varians satu arah (one way anova) dan uji lanjut uji-tukey. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian tolak H0 jika Fhitung â Ftabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil analisis data diperoleh Fhitung = 14,30 dan Ftabel = 3,07 atau Fhitung > Ftabel, maka H1 diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konseptual, algoritmik, dan grafis mahasiswa jurusan kimia pada materi asam-basa. Kemampuan pemahaman yang paling tinggi yaitu konseptual, kemudian algoritmik, dan grafis rendah. This research aimed at finding out the different of conceptual, algorithmic, and graphical understanding abilities on students of chemistry department on acid- base material. The research samples were 42 students of chemistry department. This research used comparative with the research design was comparative research design. The research instrument was essay test consisted of 12 questions which is used to measure the ability of conceptual, algorithmic, and graphical understanding. The data hypothesis testing used one way anova and tukey test as further test. Based on testing criteria, H0 was rejected when Fcount â Ftable on significance level of 0,05. The result of data, it obtained Fcount = 14,30 and Ftable = 3,07 or Fcount > Ftable, thus H1 is accepted. It was concluded that the research result showed there were differences among the ability of conceptual, algorithmic, and graphical understanding on students of chemistry department on acid-base material.
