Abstract
ABSTRAK Ferawaty Abdullah. 2017. Pengaruh Model Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy (SAVI) Dengan Media Puzzle Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Pada Materi Larutan Penyangga Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Limboto. Skripsi Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia Program Pendidikan Strata-1 (S1) Fakultas Matematika dan IPA Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Dosen pembimbing I Nita Suleman, ST, MT dan Pembimbing II Erni Mohamad, S.Pd, M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy (SAVI) dengan Media Puzzle Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa pada Materi Larutan Penyangga Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Limboto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode eksperimen, jenis true experimental design dengan desain penelitian "pretest-posttest control group design". Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy (SAVI) dengan Media Puzzle dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas XI IPA 2 dibelajarkan menggunakan metode konvensional. Pengambilan data menggunakan tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda beralasan sebanyak 10 nomor soal. Hasil uji coba instrumen diperoleh instrumen tes valid dan memiliki reliabilitas yang tinggi dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya Pengaruh Model Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy (SAVI) dengan Media Puzzle Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa pada Materi Larutan Penyangga Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Limboto. Hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,435 sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 61,838. Selain itu, didukung oleh uji hipotesis yang menggunakan uji anakova dengan menggunakan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Fhitung = 85,458 dan Ftabel = 4,00, dengan demikian Fhitung > Ftabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. It applies experimental method, types of true experimental design by pretest-posttest control group design. Technique of collecting data is completed by using cluster random sampling, then it obtained thet in experiment classes, they are grade XI natural science 1 which has been taught by Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy (SAVI) model with puzzle media and control class is grade XI natural science 2 which has been taught by conventional method. Data collected by using multiple choices test amounted 10 questions. Finding result is validity instrument test and hight reliability and result of research shows that has found the influence of Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectualy (SAVI) model with puzzle media towards students' concept understanding in buffer materials at Grade XI natural science SMA Negeri 1 Limboto. It proved from average value of experiment class amounted 82,435 while value average of control class amounted to 61,383. Furthermore, it was supported by hypothesis test which used anacova test by using significance level amounted to 0,05. Based on research finding Fcount = 85,485 and Ftable = 4,00, it concludes that Fcount > Ftable then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Keywords: SAVI, Puzzle, Buffer, Students
