Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa materi hidrolisis garam melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) di kelas XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Limboto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Limboto yang berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari data tes hasil belajar siswa dan hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa melalui lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase pada siklus I sebesar 73,33% mengalami peningkatan menjadi 86,67% pada siklus II. Selanjutnya persentase hasil pengamatan aspek afektif siswa meningkat dari 43,33% menjadi 83,33% dengan kategori sangat baik dan persentase hasil pengamatan aspek psikomotor siswa meningkat dari 26,67% menjadi 81,67% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kegiatan guru meningkat dari 80,95% pada siklus I menjadi 88,09% pada siklus II. Keaktifan siswa meningkat dari 70,81% pada siklus I menjadi 80,83% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hidrolisis garam. Abstract This research aims to improve student learning outcomes of salt hydrolysis material through the application of the Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) learning model in class XI 4 of Limboto State 1 High School. This study is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were students of grade XI IPA 4 of Limboto 1 State High School totaling 30 people. Data collection techniques use tests and observations. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research data was obtained from the test data of student learning outcomes and observations of teacher and student activities through observation sheets. The results show that the use of the Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) learning model can improve student learning outcomes with a percentage in the first cycle of 73.33% has increased to 86.67% in cycle II. Furthermore, the percentage of students' affective aspects of observation increased from 43.33% to 83.33% with very good categories and the percentage of observations of psychomotor aspects of students increased from 26.67% to 81.67% with very good categories. Teacher activity increased from 80.95% in the first cycle to 88.09% in the second cycle. Student activity increased from 70.81% in the first cycle to 80.83% in the second cycle. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI) learning model can improve student learning outcomes in salt hydrolysis material.
