Abstract
ABSTRAK Yeni Rahman. 2018."Analisis Tingkat Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Telaga Biru Pada Materi Larutan Penyangga Dengan Menggunakan Four-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument". Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia Program Pendidikan Strara-1 (S1), Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dr. Yuszda K. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI IPA SMA pada materi larutan penyangga dengan menggunakan four-tier multiple choice diagnostic instrument. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA sebanyak 66 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data penelitian diperoleh mengunakan tes. Tes yang digunakan berupa soal pilihan ganda four-tier sebanyak 14 nomor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa presentase tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi larutan penyangga yang dianalisis menggunakan four-tier multiple choice diagnostic instrument dikategorikan gagal karena hanya 15% siswa yang memahami konsep, 41% tidak memahami konsep, 32% miskonsepsi dan 12% error. The study applies qualitative method which is aimed at describing the level of conceptual understanding at the class of XI IPA of Senior High School students in Buffer Solusion using Four-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument. The subjects are 66 students at the class of XI IPA determined by saturated sampling technique. The data are collected through a test. The test is four-tier multiple choice consisting of 14 items. Findings reveal that the level of students' conceptual understanding at the class of XI IPA, SMA Negeri 1 Telaga Biru in Buffer Solution analyzed using Four-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument is considered failed because only 15% students understand the concept, 41% do not understand the concept, 32% are misconception, 12% are error.
