Abstract
ABSTRAK Jeldi Latodjo. 2015. Deskripsi Kreativitas Guru Geografi Dalam Pembelajaran Di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa Kecamatan Bolango Timur Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo. Skripsi, Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Geografi, Jurusan Ilmu dan Teknologi Kebumian, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Dr. Nawir Sune, M.Si dan Pembimbing II Dr. Eng. Sri Maryati, S.Si. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana kreativitas guru geografi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa. Sedangkan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kreativitas guru Geografi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskripsi dengan perhitungan modus. Dari hasil perhitungan statistik deskriptif yaitu dalam proses belajar dan pembelajaran geografi guru cukup fleksibel, guru cukup optimistis, guru respek, guru kurang cekatan, guru humoris, guru inspiratif, guru cukup lembut, guru cukup disiplin, guru kurang responsif, guru kurang empatik dan guru cukup nge-friend. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian tersebut di atas menunjukan bahwa guru pengajar geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa cukup kreativitas dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai rata-rata kreativitas guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar berada pada kategori cukup kreatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan guru pengajar geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa dapat meningkatkan kreativitas mengajarnya dan dapat memaksimalkan ciri-ciri kreativitas yang telah dimilikinya agar dalam pembelajaran guru fleksibel dalam menghadapi siswa yang beragam karakteristiknya, tetap optimis mampu memfasilitasi belajar siswa agar sukses dalam pembelajaran, guru juga respek dan cekatan agar mampu menyisipkan humor-humor dan inspiratif dengan lembut dan dalam menerapkan disiplin gurupun responsif, empatik dan nge-friend dengan siswa. Sri Maryati, S.Si The problem in this research was how was the geographic teacher's creativity in teaching and learning activities at SMA N 1 Tapa. The objective of this research was to describe the creativity of geographic teacher in teaching and learning activities at SMA N 1 Tapa. This research used quantitative descriptive method. The data in this research were analyzed using the statistical descriptive analysis with the modus formula. Based on the analysis it was revealed that in the teaching and learning process of geography subject the teacher was quite flexible, optimistic, and respect, less creative, humorous, inspiring, discipline, lenient, less responsive, less empathic, and quite friendly. Therefore, the research revealed that the geographic teachers in SMA N 1 Tapa were quite creative in implementing the teaching and learning process. This was shown by the average points of teachers' creativity in teaching and learning process were under the moderately creative category. Based on this research it was expected that the geographic teachers at SMA N 1 Tapa could improve their teaching creativity and could maximize the creative characters that they already have in order for the teachers to be more flexible in dealing with multiple characters of the students, and the teachers to be optimistic that they can facilitate the students to be successful in learning, the teachers should more respect and be creative to slip in humor or inspiration during the learning and in implementing the discipline the teachers could be responsive and discipline at the same time, emphatic as well as friendly with the students.
