Abstract
Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi dinamika dan masalah kependudukan melalui integrasi model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) dan Student Teams Achievment Division (STAD) di SMA Muhammadiyah Batudaa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS3 dengan jumlah siswa yang diberikan tindakan selama penelitian sebanyak 25 siswa, yang terdiri dari 11 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat komponen yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, serta analisis dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan atau observasi, dan pemberian tes pada akhir siklus pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukan bahwa terdapat 16 dari 25 orang siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas 75 (64%) dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 36%. Presentase keberhasilan pada siklus I belum mencapai indicator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan, sehingga perlu dilanjutkan ke siklus berikutnya. Hasil evaluasi tes hasil belajar pada siklus II terdapat 28 dari 25 siswa yang dikenai tindakan memperoleh ketuntasan dengan presentase sebesar (92%), dan siswa yang tidak tuntas (8%). Nilai rata-rata kelas pada siklus I adalah (73,2%) dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II (84,04%). Ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I mencapai 64%, sedangkan pada siklus II menjadi (92%). This research is aimed at investigating student's learning achievememnt at dynamics and population issue topics through integration of Group Investigation (GI) Type as Cooperative learning model and Student Teams achievement Division (STAD) Type at SMA Muhammadiyah Batudaa. Research subjects are 25 students of class XI of IPS3 comprising 11 males and 14 females. The research is conducted in two cycles comprising four components namely: plan, implementation of action, observation and analysis and reflection. Research data are gathered by doing observation and analysis and reflection. Research data are gathered by doing observation and testing at the end of learning cycle. Research finding at cycle I shows that there are 16 out of 25 students or 64% who are passed while the remaining 36% are not. As the finding does not meet the determined performance indicator, next cycle is taken. The findings as cycle II have confirmed on increase as there are 28 out 25 treated students have passed or 92% and those who have not yet passed are counted for 8%. Average score of class at cycle I is 73,2% and increases to 84,04% at cycle II. Then , classical completeness at cycle I is 64% and increases to 92% at cycle II.
