Abstract

Adviser Fadly Ahmad, S.T., M. Eng. This study aims to determine the stress strain on the foundation coincide. Location of study at the Civil Engineering Laboratory, Gorontalo State University. Bearing capacity analysis Terzaghi and Skempton method. The spread is calculated using an additional foundation load stress while the Boussinesq method, foundation coincide analysis used Plaxis 8.2 programme to calculate the stress strain arising from the existence of the foundation load. Soil investigation using a hand drill in the research site, show a clay backfilled with sand. Calculation of bearing capacity according to Terzaghi and Skempton shows the foundation does not meet the safety factor, F = 2.014
