Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research aims to design an android based audio visual media and facilitate students in class XI of Madrasah Aliyah in learning Arabic Language. This research applies method of prototyping namely: (1) preparation of research, (2) collecting data, (3) analysis of system, (4) design of system, (5) implementation, (6) testing system, and (7) composing report.
The designing of an android based audio visual media applies lesson in class XI, started from lesson 1 to 6. The topics are based on students' book of Arabic Language for Madrasah Aliyah Class XI, kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia in 2013 curriculum.
In this learning media, there are aspects of mufrodat, hiwar, kirooah, and kitaabah in every topic as well as supported by audio for part of mufrodat. This application is also completed by exercise questions in every topic, where each question has radio button and can give response in form of text, either it is correct or incorrect based on the chosen answer.
Product of this research is an android based audio visual media application for facilitating class XI students of Madrasah Aliyah in learning Arabic Language.
The result of the application test based on the operability is that the application has a good function and the result of usability test has gained a score 71,2878788 (accepted).
