Novaldi A. Nusi. Penentual Lokasi Potensi Peternakan Menggunakan Analisis Location Quotient (LQ) Di Kabupaten Gorontalo(di bimbing oleh Manda Rohandi, S.Kom., M.Kom dan Agus Lahinta, S.Kom., M.Kom)
Permasalahan peternakan pada Dinas Kelautan Perikanan dan Peternakan Kabupaen Gorontalo masih belum maksimal dilihat dari sisi penentuan wilayah potensi yang sesuai untuk peternakan tidak efisien, kurangnya informasi kepada masyarakat mengenai jenis ternak yang baik untuk dibudidayakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menentukan lokasi potensi peternakan di Kabupaten Gorontalo menggunakan analisis Location Quotient (LQ). Teknik analisis location quotinet (LQ) ini digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi peternakan yang dimiliki suatu daerah di Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Prototype untuk metode pengembangan sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan adanya sistem informasi yang menerapkan metode analisis Location Quotient (LQ) dapat meningkatkan kinerja Dinas Kelautan Perikanan dan Peternakan dalam mengembangkan peternakan, serta dapat memudahkan masyarakat dalam mendapatkan informasi terkait dengan peternakan.

The current problems experienced by the Department of Marine, Fishery, and Livestock of Gorontalo District are the inefficiency of determining the potential area for livestock and lacking information from society regarding a good type of livestock to be groun. The research aimed to assess potential location for livestock in Gorontalo District by using the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis. The analysis is used to identifi livestock potential of the certain region in Gorontalo District. The research applied a prototype method as the system development method. The finding confirmed that the created information system applying Location Quotient (LQ) analysis could improve the performance of Department of Marine, Fishery, and Livestock of Gorontalo District in developing the livestock and to facilitate society in gaining information related to livestock.
