Monitoring and evaluation system of learning at faculty of engineering, state university of gorontalo remains experiencing several problems thur it is not optimal yet. it is reflected from stacking documents as the work remains using paper,. also, the problems are indicated from the reporting in which the study program does not obtain result of the monitoring and evaluation as ell as a bad time management in which the implemention, in some cases, is delayed. the research aimed to optimize monitoring and evaluation process of learning through applying web service tecnology as data exchange among connected system. it applied prototype method as system development method by using PHP programing language and MySQL database as well as web service tecnology, the research finding showed that the system is able to optimize monitoring and evaluation system of learning and it is able to facilitate related parties in doing monitoring and evaluation process over the learning in faculyti od egineering, state unoversity of gorontalo
