Abstract
Abstract The Ministry of Education and Culture then issued Circular No. 5901/D/KR/2019 concerning the Readiness of Junior High Schools and Senior High Schools in Applying Informatics as a Subject in the 2019/2020 Academic Year, but in the attachment to the circular, SMP Negeri 1 Bone Raya is not included in the list of schools that can apply the subject informatics itself. One of the reasons is the absence of educators who are certified informatics teachers, so they can only organize Information and Communication Technology Guidance (BTIK) learning. BTIK learning is carried out with the type of guidance service in terms of mastery of content in the material being taught, but the learning method still uses the lecture method and the percentage of ppt (conventional) so that students look passive and do not have the enthusiasm to learn because the teaching materials used have not inserted technology in it, especially in the introduction material. computer hardware because the material requires teachers to be able to clearly show the form, function and working principle of each hardware device in the computer itself but is constrained by the unavailability of an ICT practicum kit that can support BTIK learning itself. This research is an experimental study that aims to determine the effect of virtual reality-based mobile learning media on the learning outcomes of class VII students in BTIK subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Bone Raya. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was greater than the average value of the control class (79.17 > 72.00), which means that the learning outcomes of students who are taught using virtual reality-based mobile learning media are better than those of the virtual reality-based learning media. learning outcomes of students who are taught using conventional learning, so it can be concluded that the use of virtual reality-based mobile learning media has been shown to improve student learning outcomes for grade VII students compared to conventional learning in BTIK subjects for introduction to computer hardware at SMP Negeri 1 Bone Raya. Keywords: Informatics, Mobile Learning, Virtual Reality.
