Abstract
ABSTRACT Hamza A. Kaluy 613 410 025. Study of Soil Water Ability for Oil Palm Plant (elaeis guineensis Jacq) In Dimito Village, Wonosari Sub-district, Boalemo District. Under guidance by Mohamad Ikbal Bahua and Suyono Dude. The purpose of this research is 1). Knowing the source of groundwater in meeting the needs of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) Dimito Village Wonosari District Boalemo District. 2). Knowing the impact of soil absorption by palm oil (elaeis guineensis Jacq) in Dimito village, Wonosari sub-district, Boalemo regency. This research was conducted in Dimito Village, Wonosari Sub-district, Boalemo Regency using Qualitative Descriptive Analysis method. The results of this study is the month of the last 3 years ie 13 Months While the wet months there are 23 months. In accordance with the calculation of climate space, the Wonosari region is categorized as Class C. Rain intensity is the ratio between rainfall and rainy days both in monthly and yearly. Based on the number of rainy days in Wonosari District, average rainfall with high intensity (296) in June 2014 and low intensity rainfall (0) in August and September in 2015 and in October 2014. To overcome Therefore, the oil palm plantation should create adequate drainage networks and the manufacture of air shelters such as artificial embungs, in order to withstand the air in the dry season can reduce the rate of air flow.
