YOLAN BANO. NIM 613411156. Uji Ketahanan Jenis Kakao Criollo Dan Forestero Terhadap Penyakit Busuk Buah Kakao (Phythopthora Palmivora) Pada Umur Buah Yang Berbeda. Dibimbing oleh Rida Iswati sebagai Pembimbing 1 dan Mohamad Lihawa sebagai Pembimbing II.
P.palmivora merupakan salah satu patogen utama penyebab penyakit busuk buah kakao pada berbagai daerah produksi kakao di Indonesia. Salah satu alternatif menanggulangi penyakit ini yaitu dengan menggunakan jenis tanaman tahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketahanan buah kakao jenis Criollo dan Forestero terhadap P.palmivora. penelitian ini mulai pada bulan juni sampai agustus 2016, bertempat di Laboratorium BPTPH Provinsi Gorontalo. Menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktot pertama jenis kakao dan faktor kedua umur buah. Parameter yang diamati adalah masa inkubasi dan luas bercak untuk mengukur ketahanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan masa inkubasi pada buah Criollo berkisar 3 sampai 7 hari setelah inokulasi dan forestero 5 sampai 7 hari setelah inokulasi. Jenis forestero tahan pada umur 1, 2, 3, dan 4 bulan sedangkan criollo tahan pada umur 1 dan 4 bulan.

P.palmivora is one of the major pathogen causes fruit rot disease of cocoa in various areas of cocoa production in Indonesia. One alternative to overcome this disease is to use resistant plant species. The study aims to determine the resitance Criollo and forestero of cocoa type againts black pod disease (P.palmivora). this study began in June until August 2016,the research was conduducted at the Laboratory BPTPH Gorontalo province. Using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with three replications. The first factor where type of cocoa (Criollo and Forestero) and the second factor where fruit maturity (1, 2, 3, and 4 months). The parameters where incubation period and measured length and widht of necrosed symptoms. The results showed incubation period ranges from 3 to 7 days for criollo and 5 to 7 days for forestero. Type forestero resistance at 1, 2, 3, and 4 months of maturity while Criolloat 1 and 4 months of maturity.
